He was awarded the Order of Merit (Ordre Naional du Merite) by the French Government in 2000 for his work in culture. He is well known for his excellent work across schools in Theatre and Education and served has Chairman of the Board of the French-Jamaican Cultural Centre and School (Alliance Française of Jamaica) from 1997 to 2008. He has directed and produced numerous plays in Jamaica, TV commercials and TV programmes, as well as hosted and produced radio programmes.
