Kemoy Outar is a fulltime accompanist with the School of Dance where he teaches the Traditional Caribbean and West African drum rhythms, arranges, and plays music for dance technique classes. He is also a Percussionist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Jamaica and Drum instructor at the Ardenne High School in Kingston, Jamaica where he teaches students mastery of various percussion instruments as well as prepares them for performances and competition on major stages such as the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission annual festival of the Arts.  He has trained with master drummers in Jamaica and others from various countries in Africa and has acquired a keen ear and skilled hands for traditional rhythms. His professional career spans 17 years and over this time he has worn many hats including accompanist for dance classes (Modern, African and Jamaican folk dance styles), Musical Director for major productions such as Jamaica Independence Grand Gala, Musical Director and Lead drumming composer for world-renowned dance company L’ACADCO: A United Caribbean Dance Force, and played percussion for recording artists Keznamdi, Etana, Kymani Marley, and Jesse Royal.

Kim-Lee Campbell (Lee Rose) is a Lecturer in the Department of Performance and Choreography at the School of Dance. A performance art film maker, creative director and choreographer, Campbell is a graduate of the EMCVPA School of Dance (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance and Choreography, and Rex Nettleford Awardee for Performance and Choreography) and holds an International Master in Dance Knowledge, Practice and Heritage (Choreomundus). Their body of work explores power, gender and race identities and body as process, and experiments with using psychosomatic tools to tell stories “by any medium necessary”. As such, their dance writing has been published in Contact Quarterly [USA] and RAP Magazine [UK] and they have presented work for the Jamaica Dance Umbrella [JM], the Tobago Contemporary Dance Festival [TT], the Dance Fields Conference [UK] and the Beyond Homophobia Conference [JM]. They are the founder of the online archive KaribF.U.N.K™, the 2019 Jericho Fellowship Visual Prize awardee for their short film “Stand in Still” and are a resource creator for the CAPE Performing Arts syllabus (Dance Option).
