Experience an Arts filled Summer in Jamaica at EMCVPA

The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (EMCVPA) is known for a rich tradition in the visual and performing arts and boast the privilege of being the only College of its kind in the English speaking Caribbean. The Summer School has been existence for over twenty years and continues to excel in offering a world class Arts programme for children and adults.

All the summer programmes at the EMCVPA are designed to engage and appeal to individuals at all levels of artistic experience, from beginners to professional artists guided by a cadre of well trained accomplished artiste/artist ensuring that every participant is exposed to the best trainers in arts. Summer School begins July 3 and ends July 28 Mondays to Fridays.

The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts has been through several stages in its evolution. The four Schools—Drama, Music, Dance, and Visual Arts—started out at different locations in Kingston. Two of the Schools, namely the School of Art and the School of Music, are historic because of their establishment in 1951 and 1961 respectively, before the island gained its independence from Britain in 1962.
