Tradition of Excellence lauded at Founders Week Church Service

Founders Week Church Service
Tradition of Excellence lauded at Founders Week Church Service held at Praise City International Transformation Centre in Trench Town

It was the singing…

As Dr. Henley Morgan shared in his address – “this church is foot stomping, tambourine shaking, hand clapping kinda church…”

The Church service to open Founders Week 2018 was spirit filled, relevant and organic and a perfect start to the College’s observance of the annual Founder’s Week. Pastor Treleven message of “Walking in Truth” was a positive reinforcement and encouragement for those of us who chose Arts and Culture. He charged us to use the week to REFRESH – RENEW & REFILL.

We say thank you to the forty-four (44) staff and students who turned up including members of the Student’s Council, Helping Hearts, Performers  from Schools of Music, Dance and Drama with supporting Faculty.

Special thanks to Mr. Patrick Earle for coordinating the programme with church officials and the students and staff who shared their talents with the congregation flying the EMCVPA flag high.

We big up the resident “Transformation Band” with Class of 2005 Gregory Palmer, Dale Brown and Fitzroy Green and School of Continuing Education’s Micah Treleven.

We invite you to take some time out this week and attend at least two of the scheduled events listed on the attached calendar and embrace your inheritance – this great legacy The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts.
