Join EMCVPA this December for Shop and Rock & Priez iina di Krismus

The Edna Manley College of the Visual & Performing Arts presents its second staging of Shop and Rock on Saturday, December 2 at 1 Arthur Wint Drive, Kingston 5.

Patrons will be able to enjoy performances from the Schools of Dance, Music and Drama while shopping at the College’s signature shop Artstock or from over fifteen vendors on the grounds for authentic Jamaican gifts. Shop and Rock caters to the entire family as there is also a “little Artists’ Village” designed for children and hosted by the School of Visual Arts as well as a Food Court.

Corporate companies and families may also participate in the Sip and Paint activities guided by faculty to create art pieces of their own.

There is no entry fee and patrons can SHOP and ROCK from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The College also opens Kingston Music Week with its annual Carol Service on Sunday, December 3 at 5:00 pm at the Vera Moody Concert Hall with special readings and performances from the EMCVPA Choir, Percussion and Jazz Ensemble, School of Dance and School of Drama. The Carol Service, called Preiz Iina Di Krismus, is free to the public.
