Dear Prospective Graduate,

Congratulations on your accomplishment so far. We hope that you will celebrate this journey by being a part of the graduation ceremony.

Please complete the Graduation 2105 Registration Form and submit to the Registry at registry@emc.edu.jm or take it in to the office of the Registrar at 1 Arthur Wint Drive.

Prospective graduates MUST pay all outstanding balances in addition to the graduation fee to attend the ceremony.

Edna Manley College gets 4.9M for Rex Nettleford Arts Conference

KINGSTON, Jamaica (JIS) – The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (EMCVPA) has received donations amounting to $4.9 million for the staging of the 2015 Rex Nettleford Arts Conference

The sum includes $2.9 million (US$24, 928.61) from the United States Embassy and $2 million from the Culture, Health, Arts, Sports and Education (CHASE) Fund.

The conference was first held in 2011 to celebrate the late Professor’s significant contribution to Jamaica’s performance arts.

Rex Nettleford Arts Conference Receives Strong Support from Embassy of the United States, Kingston and Chase Fund

Kingston, Jamaica – The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (EMCVPA) will
stage the third bi-annual Rex Nettleford Arts Conference on October 14 -17, 2015. This year, the
conference has received much needed support from the Embassy of the United States, Kingston and
the CHASE Fund.

The Rex Nettleford Arts Conference brings together arts educators and artists/es from all over the
world to share their knowledge and experiences as well as research in the creative and cultural
industries.

Young Artists on Showcase at EMCVPA Final Year Exhibition 2015

Final year 2015 invite_16Kingston, 3 June 2015. A curated exhibition from 55 final year student artists at the School of Visual Arts (SVA) will be on display for two weeks at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (EMCVPA) hosts SVA Final Year Exhibition 2015.

The exhibition opens on Saturday, June 6, 2015 with an official ceremony starting 6:00 P.M. at the Vera Moody Concert Hall, EMCVPA. Guest speaker for this year’s event is renowned writer,
